A new beginning

This is a new beginning to my gratitude blog:

I am grateful for the Lord's hand in my life today, and for the past few days, not to mention this past summer, past year, and my entire life, as well as the lives of my friends and family members, and the lives of all people, throughout all history, and throughout all the planets, cosmos... and eternity.  Heavenly Father is there, and I am thankful for the reminder to acknowledge His merciful hand in all things.

For example, on Monday, July 29, the Lord's hand was in several details that I recognized:

- finding the McDonald's girl song that Annie loved so much
- finding this gratitude blog, with pictures of Desi, Kristin, a snowman with Abigail, etc.
- a trip to Seattle
- Dad at FAIR conference
- work
- successful outing of Verseball

and on Tuesday, July 30, 2013

- finding Abraham Lincoln's favorite poem, and some comments that he made
- a song by a French singer, called Voyage Voyage
- finding Elder Eyring's talk on gratitude
- Verseball videos
- ideas for new rules (can't throw it in to yourself from out of bounds) - (in crease (home) is a penalty against the team who does it, for the person closest on the other team, for a penalty shot) - (play with two balls at once... score one, keep playing until other is scored)
- Dad's notes
- Nathaniel
- Matt Brown - weightlifting
- feelings of gratitude

Wed. July 31

- Matt and Nathaniel, lifting weights (saw Brooke there, and others as well)
- interview PPI with Michael, learning all about Bruce Lee and his philosophy, and feeling of the Comforter
- dates
- Kimberly's wedding
- Christ's saying: "I have overcome the world"
- a message from Nathan Hamilton about his music
- a message from Spencer DaBell
- Brook Bailey
- Journals from the summer trip to Florida with the Browns, to mission and beyond - even France, Israel and many other journals
- a new journal
- for all gentle thoughts and mild
